Artist Who Teach 2024
As part of our ongoing commitment to promote the visual arts, Ellington-White Contemporary Gallery (EWCG) in collaboration with Fayetteville State University (FSU), invites current and former Visual Art Education Professionals to submit entries for this national juried exhibition to showcase the arts as an essential part of a complete education, no matter if it happens in the home, school, or community. National studies show that students of all ages—from kindergarten to college to creative aging programs—benefit from artistic exposure, learning, innovative thinking, and creativity. Celebrating Arts in Education with this national virtual event is a way to recognize and promote the impact of visual arts and share the message that “The Arts Matter.”

Feminist Insight: Telling Her Story examines roles of women now and in the past; progress towards gender equality; and outlook for the future of womenkind. Telling herstory.
AT NIGHT: Exploration of Light
AT NIGHT: A Photographic Exploration of Light a night photography exhibition. Artists are asked to investigate the complexities of night imagery and light sources that play off an object, surface of interior and exterior spaces at night.
SOUL & SPIRIT: Celebrating Black Joy
Artists of African descent celebrate the essence of Black Joy; progress towards gender equality; and an outlook for the future of Black popular culture. A celebration of cultural heritage through visual expression.
2023 National Drawing Competition
From traditional approaches to redefining the boundaries of what drawing can be, artists in this exhibition incorporate new ideas, techniques, and perspectives. The focus of the exhibition will be for viewers to engage with the contemporary artist's vision and experience the world through their visual drawing language.
