THE EXHIBITION: As part of our ongoing commitment to promote the visual arts, Ellington-White Contemporary Gallery (EWCG) in collaboration with Fayetteville State University (FSU), invites current and former Visual Art Education Professionals to submit entries for this national juried exhibition to showcase the arts as an essential part of a complete education, no matter if it happens in the home, school, or community. National studies show that students of all ages—from kindergarten to college to creative aging programs—benefit from artistic exposure, learning, innovative thinking, and creativity. Celebrating Arts in Education with this national virtual event is a way to recognize and promote the impact of visual arts and share the message that “the Arts matter.”

A fourteen-week on-line juried exhibition. This is an ONLINE ONLY exhibition. It will open on Monday, September 16th, and run through Saturday, December 21st, 2024. So, there will be no need to ship your work(s) to us. We will promote it as if it was an on-site exhibition. The exhibition jurors will select works to be exhibited. Media PR, listings, and other exhibition information will include the educational institution or school system of all the exhibiting artists. Each exhibiting artist will receive an online packet of all exhibition materials for their files.
