Art and Social Justice II
May 8 - June 26, 2021
The Ellington-White Contemporary Art Gallery (EWCG) as part of an ongoing commitment to promote the visual arts, and to fulfill our mission to enhance the quality of life for our community, invited artists, in a national competition, to submit entries for our second ART & SOCIAL JUSTICE national juried exhibition. From May 8 – June 26, thirty-six national artists exhibit forty-one works of art in the gallery and on-line with thoughtful and powerful creative statements that investigate the artists feelings and thoughts on social injustice today. Art gives us an opportunity to look at the world from different perspectives. We hope that this exhibition will continue the discussion on the path to social justice for all.
